K-pop Demon Hunters
Why are the songs in this movie so catchy! Listen, I’m not one for musicals or K-pop, but for some reason, I keep on going back to this film.
It’s mainly because of the songs; they are great, catchy songs that hold up the movie, and unlike other films, the songs actually fit in with the plot.
The animation is also great, fluid, and expressive. It fit perfectly with the K-pop theme and characters, and allowed for some fun moments, such as the faces during the opening sequence with the ramen.
Getting to the plot, it is very simplistic with a simple ‘main character has a secret they are hiding from their best friends, falls in love with somebody who has the same problem,’ type of story. Even though this plot is very simple, it still works for great fun, a great watch and some great songs.
