Fantastic 4 (Fant4stic)

Fant4stic (2015) is a complete disaster of a superhero reboot starring Miles Teller (Reed Richards / Mr Fantastic), Kate Mara (Sue Storm / Invisible Woman), Michael B. Jordan (Johnny Storm / Human Torch), Jamie Bell (Ben Grimm / The Thing) and Toby Kebbell (Victor Von Doom / Doctor Doom). The film abandons everything that made the Fantastic Four fun in favour of a grim, lifeless tone that strips away any sense of joy, charm, or adventure. Instead of a bold reimagining, it feels more like a tedious experiment gone horribly wrong.

The first part drags endlessly through Reed’s childhood and a dull science project, taking nearly half the movie before anything resembling action even happens. The middle section collapses under wooden dialogue, bland performances, and an awkward government subplot that sucks out what little energy is left. By the time Doom shows up in the final act, the film is already beyond saving, and the climactic battle is one of the most rushed and laughable endings in comic book movie history.

Overall, Fant4stic is not just bad — it’s a joyless, sloppy mess that wastes a talented cast and one of Marvel’s most iconic teams. With its awful pacing, terrible script, and complete lack of fun, it stands as one of the worst superhero movies ever made.
