Star Wars: The Last Jedi

THIS TRILOGY RUINED STAR WARS. I don’t actually think that The Force Awakens is even that bad, but both The Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker ruin it. And the worst of those two is for sure The Last Jedi.

First of all, it just ruins characters. Kylo turns into a sobbing baby, Finn doesn’t become the Jedi we all wanted him to be and goes on a useless subplot to that gambling planet with Rose, Snoke dies, and instantly ruins all his huge setup about him being the big bad, and Rey was always a terrible character.

But it ruins no character more than Luke, the lovable hero that we all knew in the original series, who is lost and turned into a stupid, vengeful, and blue milk-drinking fool.

However, the movie also fails to respect what came before it. The Holdo Manoeuvre, or the hyperdrive manoeuvre near the end of the movie, doesn’t make sense. After the brilliant choreography of the prequels, the lightsaber fights are genuinely laughable. The astral projection Luke does also doesn’t match the lore, and it genuinely ruined the final battle for me, and then he dies right after!

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is the worst movie in the franchise and deserves this 10% rating.
