Sharkboy and Lavagirl
Sharkboy And Lavagirl is an absolute fever-dream, with some of the worst CGI of all time, but I think we all have a soft spot in our hearts for it.
Even though we grew up on Robert Rodriguez movies like Spy Kids and this, you have to admit that they are pretty bad. I mean, I’m wondering how I could even watch it for an hour and a half without my eyes hurting.
But moving to the plot, it follows Max, whose superhero characters, the titular Sharkboy and Lavagirl need his help to save his dream world from Mr Electric, who is literally just M.O.D.A.K, and to be honest, has similar CGI to him even though they appear 20 years apart.
It is honestly a terrible movie, and probably deserves a lower percentage watching from a more mature perspective, but unlike movies like minions, Sharkboy and Lavagirl just has that nostalgia that makes it both torture and enjoyable to watch. We give it a 13%
