Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is the greatest example of a fun movie. You don’t need to go into depth about it, analyse it deeply, you can just sit back and smile.
First off, it’s hilarious, every character has amazing jokes and every actor has great comedic timing. From Rocket, to Drax, to Mantis, to Nebula to Chris Pratt, all of them are hilarious. But it still knows when to be serious too, Yondu’s death was one of the most tear-jerking scenes in all of the MCU.
I think the only place where I can critique the movie is the the main villain, Ego. I don’t think he was a good villain, he was boring, and the big fight against him at the end ruined the pacing for me, and that’s a similar problem to the the original, I thought Ronin was a very weak villain too. But that is fine when it comes to guardians movies, because they are all about the team, and once again James Gunn made this group of Aliens have a relationship that actually feels real, unlike some other teams in the MCU… I’m talking about the Eternals by the way.
Overall, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is an great movie in an amazing trilogy, we give it a 78%.
