Batman: The Animated Series

What do you get when you cross beautiful animation, the most outstanding voice acting performances, the greatest rogue’s gallery of all time, one of the greatest superheroes of all time and writers that knew how to make a show thats both for kids and adults? You get one of, if not, the greatest piece of superhero media ever created.

Batman: The Animated Series is easily one of the best interpretations  of the character in his nearly century long existence. Not only just the character, but all of his counterparts and villains. This show blended perfect writing, voice acting, animation, and so much more to make a show that perfectly fit into the cultural zeitgeist of the time. Kevin Conroy: The greatest Batman in any form of media, Mark Hamill: The greatest Joker of all time (excluding Heath Ledger, of course), and those are just two examples.

This show also has some of the greatest episodes in TV history! Think about it; Heart of Ice, Christmas with the Joker, Almost Got ‘Im, Two-Face, Nothing to Fear, The Man Who Killed Batman, I could go on, and on, and on, and on.

Overall, this show not only delivered perfect representations of about 99% of the characters, not only had a run, in which the vast majority of the episodes were near perfection. Not only, had some of the best storylines that you can find something new and enjoyable in every rewatch. But became a definitive representation of Batman and provided entertainment for adults and children alike, for many years, and many years to come.
