Monsters University
Monsters University is one of those movies that doesn’t do anything groundbreaking, but still manages to be a solid, enjoyable watch. The story feels a bit uneventful at times, especially compared to its predecessor, but it never really becomes boring.
The animation is exactly what you’d expect from Pixar. It’s bright, detailed, and consistently impressive. The voice cast also delivers across the board, bringing a lot of personality to the characters. What really holds the film together, though, is the dynamic between Mike and Sully. Their relationship is handled really well, showing a believable progression from rivalry to friendship.
Overall, it’s not top-tier Pixar, but it’s still entertaining and worth watching.
