Fast X

I am so sick of the Fast and the Furious franchise, and I don’t know how the hell anyone else isn’t. How can anyone take Fast X seriously when a guy somehow drives down a vertical dam wall? Do physics just not exist?

Fast X would be fine if it weren’t part of the Fast and the Furious franchise. The movie has way too many characters from all the previous movies, so that the movie, and us watching, can’t concentrate on anything happening in the plot. Seriously, I’ll name all of the ACTORS WHO PLAY MAIN CHARACTERS IN THE MOVIE: Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, freaking Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Jason Momoa, who is the main villain, Jason Statham, John Cena, Brie Larson, Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, Alan Ritchson, Rita Moreno, and Daniela Melchior. THAT IS JUST THE MAIN CHARACTER ACTORS REMEMBER, BUT I’M NOT DONE.

Even with all those actors, they had to bring Han, played by Sung Kang, to come back from the dead. But Han isn’t the only person who came back from the dead; Gisele, played by Gal Gadot, is back in the final scene. But you are probably saying, “wait, why bring her back isn’t Fast X the last movie in the franchise?” NOPE, FAST X IS A TWO-PARTER, BUT GUESS WHAT, THAT PART TWO WILL MOST LIKELY NEVER HAPPEN. But that means we are stuck with an ending to the movie that has Dom about to blow up in an explosion, some of the other “Family” are about to die in a plane crash, and there is a post-credit scene where Dante, who is the main villain played by Jason Momoa calls Dwayne Johnson’s character Hobbs.

Does the plot sound confusing to you? That’s because it is. Dante, who is actually the funniest and best part of this movie, wants to kill Dom and the Team because they killed his father in Fast Five. So now we are retconning previous movies in the franchise? An absolute mess of a movie that tries to fit almost every character in the franchise, including the ones that were already dead, a big “family” huh. This makes the plot very confusing and means it had to become a two-parter, where only the first part has ever been released. But in a way, the messiness of Fast X kinda makes it fun, and with a villain and a good actor like Jason Momoa, how can you not laugh at the stupidness of this movie? Movie Munchy gives Fast X a 43%
