Captain America: The First Avenger

It is weirdly rare to find a trilogy where all three movies are good, but somehow the Captain America trilogy doesn’t miss. There is one that is clearly worse than the others though, but that’s not to say that Captain America: The First Avenger isn’t good.

Although having a simple plot, an underdog with good values fights for his people against the villains and eventually makes the ultimate sacrifice. But this simple plot is done very well. You’re really rooting for Steve to win against Red Skull and Hydra, you’re sad when Bucky supposedly “dies”, you feel happy for Peggy and Steve, all climaxing to that great finale where Steve plummets into the ice.

There are only a few flaws I could really point out, and the main one being that Red Skull is underdeveloped. He feels one-dimensional and I feel disappointed considering I know how much potential he had. But all the other Characters, Peggy, Howard, Bucky, and of course Steve are all great and are acted well too.

Overall, Captain America: The First Avenger is simple but done great. We give it a 76%
